Eureka Network

EUREKA is a European Network to support market orientated industrial research activities. It was founded as intergovernmental organization of 18 European countries to promote innovative products, methods and services. Today the network has 33 states as members.

The network is particulary  interested in supporting small and middle sized enterprises (SMEs). Furhtermore, it exists a co-opereation with the European Business Angel Network. Every year two prices are awared with a sum of 10.000 EUR each. The Lillehammer Award is assigned for an outstanding project which crucially contributed to an advancement of the environment. The Lynx Award is for SMEs which could strengenth its economical performance through the participation in an EUREKA-Project.
