German Federal Trust Fund on Environment (DBU)

The German Federal Trust Fund (Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt) promotes innovative and exemplary environmental projects and is one of Europe's largest foundations. Since 1991, almost 5500 projects have received financial backing totalling about € 1 billion. The promotional activities concentrate on environmental technology and research, nature conservation and environmental communication.
