German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)

The German Academic Exchange Service (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) is a joint scheme of the German universities. The scheme promotes international relations between the German universities and foreign countries by the exchange of students and scientists, as well as by international programs and projects. The German Academic Exchange Service also maintains a world-wide network of offices, lecturers and alumni-societies, and offers information and consultation locally and on the internet.
