The strategy process: A call for ideas for the biotechnology of the future

The Federal Ministry for Research will be investing 200 million euros in the development of the next generation of biotechnological processes. The strategy process ‘Biotechnology 2020+’, which is aimed at giving shape to this initiative, began in Berlin on 8 July.

80 million euros for new stem cell research centre in Münster

A new centre for stem cell research will be constructed in Münster. Aided by millions of euros of funding from the state and federal governments, artificial stem cells will be tested for their application in disease and drug research.
